Fashion Designer Erin Deering Lists Sydney Suburb Home for More Than A$8 Million
Australian entrepreneur and fashion designer Erin Deering is selling her apartment in North Bondi, a coastal suburb of Sydney, for a guide price between A$8 million and A$8.5 million (US$5.59 million and US$5.94 million). The apartment is one of six in the boutique development, where actor Hugh Jackman and billionaire Sam Prince also live. Ms. Deering, 37, purchased the apartment with her ex-husband, footballer Craig Ellis, in 2013 for A$5.15 million. The two co-founded swimwear label Triangl in 2012. An apartment in Braga, Portugal, sold last week via a transaction in bitcoin, marking the first sale of its kind in the country. The apartment, with two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, changed hands for 3 bitcoins (about US$115,784).
