| | | | | | | Chard Carnival Fayre takes over Holyrood Street | Chard Carnival Committee were pleased to see so many people come along and enjoy this year's street fayre, we saw over 60 stalls with various items and delicious food. This year we managed to have 2 stages with lots of entertainment from artists to circus skills which meant there was something for everyone. Jason Baker Chairman of Chard carnival said it was great to see such a variety of stalls and to see so many people, it's a great opportunity to increase footfall in the town and showcase all that Chard has to offer. I had some great feedback on the day, everyone was very positive and said how good it was to have community events in the town centre, we are now working hard on our main event of the year which is Chard carnival and it takes place on Saturday 12th October with a week of events running up to it. Jason said that we always need lots of help and if you would like to get involved, please do get in contact. | | | | | | | |
