Ivermectin drew renewed attention during COVID‑19, with studies supporting and disputing the drug's effectiveness against the virus.

Prescriptions skyrocketed in the U.S. between January 2020 and June 2023, peaking at over 10 times pre-pandemic levels by August 2021, UCLA researchers found.

More states are legalizing the over-the-counter sale of the drug.

State Attorney General Kris Mayes filed a lawsuit against Temu, accusing the Chinese-owned shopping app of collecting users' data without consent and monitoring other apps on their phones.

Temu denied the allegations, saying it will defend itself vigorously in court.

Mayes' lawsuit also alleges that Temu sells unlicensed and copyrighted merchandise, undercutting Arizona businesses.

She called Temu's alleged practices "possibly the gravest violation of the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act that we have ever seen in Arizona."

The new service lets customers receive orders from DashMart locations using Waymo's self-driving vehicles, with plans in the works to expand to other local businesses.

Customers use the DoorDash app to unlock the trunk and retrieve their groceries from an autonomous Waymo vehicle.

Robotaxi company Waymo, which began as Google's self-driving car project, has operated in the East Valley since 2017 and also partners with Uber Eats for autonomous deliveries.
