Sauteed apples with pecan crumble
As the weather gets colder, desserts get warmer! This simple apple crumble is ready in just over 20 minutes and calls for only six ingredients: coconut oil, coconut milk, cinnamon, pecans, maple syrup, and, of course, apples. First, you chop the apples and cook them in coconut oil, coconut milk, and cinnamon. Then, you top them with chopped pecans and maple syrup before serving.
Consuming apples may be associated with health benefits, such as supporting heart, brain, and gut health. It may also help reduce the risk of developing cancer and diabetes and support weight loss. Pecans may also provide benefits, like lowering cholesterol and triglycerides.
