| Exclusive Andrew Garfield is in negotiations to star alongside Julia Roberts in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming feature After the Hunt, which will be released in theaters next year. Luca Guadagnino is directing. Exclusive Lacey Chabert has been tapped to star in Hot Frosty, a holiday rom-com that Jerry Ciccoritti (My Life with the Walter Boys) is directing for Netflix. Carrie-Anne Moss is set to join Arnold Schwarzenegger in Season 2 of Netflix’s spy adventure series Fubar. Moss will play Greta Nelso, a former East German spy who has a passionate history with Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger). Snoop Dogg is heading back to The Voice alongside Michael Bublé. The rapper and the jazz singer are joining the NBC music competition in Season 26. They will sit alongside Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani for the series, which launches in the fall. George Clooney will become a Broadway actor for the first time next year when he stars as Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck, a stage adaptation of his 2005 Oscar-nominated film. Bridgerton breakout Phoebe Dynevor is in talks to star in an as-yet-untitled shark thriller that Tommy Wirkola (Violent Night) wrote to direct for Sony Pictures. |

This will lead to the creation of the 'CAAVault' — a synthetic media vault that will store all intellectual property related to all CAA talent’s name, image and likeness. This includes digital scans and voice recordings. 📉 Sony Pictures Entertainment has seen operating income fall nearly 10% for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. The company’s operating income was $808M in dollar terms compared with $894M for the comparable period a year before, which was down 9.6%. Revenues crept up to $10.31B from $10.14B for FY. 💰 Julia Roberts is joining George Clooney at a Los Angeles fundraiser next month for Joe Biden‘s campaign, headlined by the president and his predecessor, Barack Obama. 🎙️ Ellen Degeneres will return to Netflix with a new hour-long comedy special later this year, Deadline has learned. Obituaries 🕯️ David Sanborn, the six time Grammy-winning alto saxophonist who played at Woodstock, composed music for the Lethal Weapon movies, played in the SNL and Late Night with David Letterman bands and worked with everyone from Stevie Wonder to David Bowie, died Sunday afternoon, May 12th, after an extended battle with prostate cancer with complications. He Was 78. 🕯️ Samm-Art Williams, whose Tony-nominated 1979 play Home is being revived on Broadway this year and whose TV producing credits include Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Martin and Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, died peacefully today in Burgaw, North Carolina.
