This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're honoring you
| | |
| | | | | | Across the world, 7.8 million people have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the last 5 years. That's a whole lot of people doing their best as friends, co-workers, partners, and parents, while navigating breast cancer. The way we see it, there are millions of people who deserve to be recognized. | | | This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to invite you to join Bezzy BC — a community where you can find the support you need from people who truly get it all year. Because no one living with breast cancer should feel alone. | | | I should know. My name is Monica Haro and I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (invasive lobular carcinoma) 8 years ago at 42 years old. During and after treatment, I struggled to find an empowering breast cancer community with people I could relate to. After searching for awhile, I found community online through Instagram and in person through Bay Area Young Survivors. Now I'm the guide for Bezzy BC — an online community for people living with breast cancer. In our community, we share our stories, connect with others who get where we're coming from, and find resources that help us navigate breast cancer. | | | Bezzy offers: | | This month and every month, Bezzy is here for you. | | | Powered by community, empowered by each other. | | | |
