 | TOKYO -- Looking beyond its traditional earthbound markets, Honda Motor has decided to join a lunar rover development project pursued by Japanese space agency JAXA. Toyota Motor is overseeing the design of the 6-meter-long lunar cruiser. Honda will develop fuel cell technology to power the vehicle. The rover will carry two people and is expected to hit lunar soil in 2029 as part of the NASA-led Artemis program. It will have to cope with the harsh environment of space, including intense radiation and temperature swings not seen on Earth. No word has been given on how many cup holders it will sport. Read here
