Measles Cases Still Rising in U.S. As Texas Officials Declare Regional Outbreak Over

The U.S. measles outbreak has reached 1,375 confirmed cases in 42 jurisdictions, the highest number of cases in over 30 years since the disease was declared eliminated. Texas health officials declared the large outbreak in West Texas over. The region comprised nearly half of all measles cases in the U.S.
