Big interview: Pancreatic cancer survivor given 12 weeks to live on keeping her business alive - and turning her focus to tech | | Good morning and welcome to Monday's newsletter. This week marks the last week of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, which runs until the end of November.
Gloucestershire entrepreneur Bryony Thomas - the founder of business growth consultancy Watertight Thinking - was diagnosed days before Christmas in 2019 and was told by doctors in Bristol she had just weeks to live.
She spoke to BusinessLive about being diagnosed with the deadly disease, why there is no point living as if you are dying, and beating the odds to return to the world of business.

Law firm Clarke Wilmott elects new chief executive | | The South West-founded law firm (it was established in 1888) has elected a new chief executive.
Peter Swinburn was voted in by the company's partners and will take up the top job in May next year. He is taking over from Stephen Rosser, who is stepping down after 13 years at the helm of the organisation.

Primark to open Salisbury store as part of £140m UK investment plan | | Primark has revealed it will be opening up a store in Salisbury as part of major investment plans that it says could create 850 jobs around the UK. As well as in Wiltshire, the fashion chain is going to be opening up new shops in Teesside Park in Stockton on Tees, Bury St Edmunds and Craigavon in Northern Ireland.
It is also planning to swap existing shops in Bradford and High Wycombe to bigger premises.
