Although medicines used for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) continue to effective, antimicrobial resistance can compromise these global programmes. To ensure drug-efficacy, immediate measures - including monitoring and establishment of surveillance systems - need to be in place. To mark this year’s World Antimicrobial Awareness Week from 18 -24 November, the NTD Department and the Department of Global Coordination and Partnership on AMR are hosting a webinar on 24 November.
