We’re thrilled to announce Christopher Rosen is joining Ankler Media as deputy editor. Rosen joins from Gold Derby, where he served as news director; he previously was an executive editor at Entertainment Weekly, managing editor at Huffington Post, contributing editor at Vanity Fair and editor-in-chief of TV Guide. Rosen will report to CEO and editor-in-chief Janice Min, work closely with co-founder Richard Rushfield, and collaborate with Ankler awards editor Katey Rich on expanding coverage of film and TV, festivals and exploring new initiatives for serving a broad audience who love and follow prestige storytelling from Hollywood’s best actors and creators. Rosen also will be joining Rich as a regular co-host of her beloved Prestige Junkie podcast, which has featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Glen Powell, Kirsten Dunst, Colman Domingo and numerous others. “As someone who has respected and admired Janice throughout my career from a distance, this opportunity to work for The Ankler proved impossible to pass up,” said Rosen. “What a privilege to join Richard, my good friend Katey, and the other incredible roster of journalists on the masthead.
