This week, the United States Postal Service spent nearly $3 billion on 50,000 new delivery vehicles, but 80% of them are gasoline-powered, dealing a blow to President Biden’s dream of pioneering a fully electric fleet of federal vehicles. Postal couriers in other countries, such as Germany, are racing ahead to become carbon neutral by 2050 – with the help of e-trikes.
