Out of 362 patients, 153 patients are in ICU, which is about 50 percent of the total confirmed patients. The Health Department says that most of these people had come to the hospital due to some of their illness. It got infected after the corona test was done. Due to the serious condition of the patients due to the disease, they are in the ICU.

According to the Delhi Health Department, out of the total 15,306 COVID beds in the capital, three percent are infected and 97 percent of the beds are vacant. Even during the peak of the third wave, only 17 percent of the beds were filled. Most of these patients were also those who had some chronic disease. The total number of corona infected in the capital has gone up to 1853428. Of these, 1824145 people have been recovered. The positivity rate is 1.37 percent and the death rate is 1.41 percent. The number of active patients in Delhi has also come down to 3197.

Dr. Suresh Kumar, medical director of Delhi's Loknayak Hospital, says that now there are only 18 corona patients in his hospital. He said that during the peak of the third wave, 10 to 15 patients were being admitted daily, but now this number has come down to three to four. Dr. said that now the situation is normal in Delhi with Corona, although there should not be any negligence regarding infection. The elderly and people suffering from chronic disease may be at risk from corona.

Dr. Ajit Kumar of GTB Hospital says that the third wave in Delhi is almost over. He said that after the arrival of the Omicron variant, it is expected that now this epidemic will not take a serious form. While giving advice, Dr. said that Corona has come under control, but people should not think that this epidemic will end forever. He said that the virus will exist among us only. Its mutations will also continue to happen, but the chances of the next variant becoming serious with the immunity found after Omicron is very less.
